Qualifying Canadian business

An entrepreneur is said to have a qualifying Canadian business, if the percentage of business managed and controlled by him/her meets at least two of the undermentioned conditions in one year-

  • Full-time job equivalents are equal to or greater than two
  • Annual sales totalling $250,000 or more
  • Net income in the year goes $25,000 and beyond
  • If at the end of the year, net assets is equal to $125,000 or greater

The Qualifying Canadian Business parameters are effective in determining the capability of an Entrepreneur and its business.
