Departure Order

A departure order is nothing but an order of removal issued by either a Canada Border Service Agency (CBSA) officer or the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB) against those people who have violated the Canada immigration draw. Anyone who received the departure order is not allowed to legally remain in Canada and must leave the country within 30 days.

If the claimant does not leave Canada within 30 days, the departure order converts to a deportation order.
